CREATIC4AFRICA represents, above all, a firm commitment to creativity and technology innovation as the driving force behind social and economic progress in Africa.
CREATIC4AFRICA is an innovation engine and a technology laboratory whose main mission is to promote the development, funding and business application of ideas in ICT for development (ICT4D).
CREATIC4AFRICA is an origianl idea and a project of the CTIC Foundation, which has been developed in collaboration with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development and the University of Oviedo.
CREATIC4AFRICA’s main objective is to search for innovative ideas generated from and for Africa that contribute to Human Development.
The target countries for the period 2011-2012 are Ethiopia, Mozambique, Senegal, Cape Verde and Angola.
